My wonderful niece and nephew and my mom came to visit NYC recently. We went everywhere, just like tourists, and it was pretty amazing-even to, YES, the Statue of Liberty…So amazing to contemplate what it must have been like fro my mother’s family, coming to America from Italy in the mid-1950s…How brave that was, how terrifying, how incredible that, together, they had the heart and soul to make that journey…What did NYC look and feel like, to them? Amazing to think about…
Val Kilmer Interview!
I had the great pleasure of personally interviewing actor Val Kilmer last week, and he talked about his role in Harmony Korine’s new film (he directs one of three short films within-the-film) “The Fourth Dimension,” which premiered at Tribeca.
Tribeca was an AMAZING blast… Wow-Val Kilmer AND got to hang out a bit with one my cinematic “heroes,” Harmony Korine SO so awesome... And he is so, so sweet.
